Those looking to learn more about saving a life are invited to stop by the YMCA for a series of classes tomorrow.
The Butler YMCA will host a lifeguard training course for ages 15 and older Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m.
The course will continue Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Upon successful completion, participants will be certified in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR/AED for a professional rescuer.
A pre-swim test will be held on the first night. Cost is $200 or $85 for recertification. Visit the YMCA website to register or learn more about these classes.
