At least one person was seriously injured as a result of an ATV crash in Slippery Rock Township Monday evening.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 8 p.m. for the incident in the 100 block of Ralston Road.
Crews from Slippery Rock and Unionville were among those responding to the scene to find a female in her 20s bleeding from the face and unresponsive in a ditch. A portion of the road needed to be shut down.
A rescue helicopter was called to land at the nearby Slippery Rock golf club and event center parking lot to transport the woman for treatment of serious injuries.
