At least one person was seriously injured as a result of a vehicle crash in downtown Butler Wednesday night.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just after 7 p.m. for an accident involving a motorcycle on West Cunningham Street near the intersection with West Jefferson Street.
Emergency responders from the city of Butler were among those arriving on the scene to find multiple vehicles involved and an injured female in need of medical attention.
The extent of injuries is unknown at this time. The exact cause of the crash is under investigation. The intersection was closed for over an hour while the scene was cleared.
