The average temperature this time of year is 64 degrees. That wasn’t the case Wednesday.
Butler County residents awoke to a steady stream of snow showers Wednesday morning. Fortunately roads weren’t severely impacted, so morning commutes don’t appear to be dramatically effected.
Temperatures though could challenge for a new record. The coldest temperature on record was in 1875 when it hit a high of only 41 degrees. Wednesday’s projected high is 37 in Butler according to the National Weather Service.
