Drivers will notice lane restrictions on a portion of Interstate 79 in Butler County beginning Friday.
PennDOT says motorists can expect single-lane restrictions on the southbound lanes of I-79 between Exit 96 (State Route 488- Portersville) and Exit 88 (Little Creek Road) beginning at 9 a.m.
The restrictions should last through Sunday morning. Crews will be working to repair a section of the road that was damaged by a recent tractor trailer accident.
