The National Football League announced that the window for players to vote on ratifying the new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) officially closed at 11:59pm on Saturday (March 14th).
The new CBA was sent to players on March 5th for their review. In order to pass the proposal, a majority of the 2,500 athletes would need to vote in favor of the agreement. If the agreement passes, it will last through the 2030 season.
A final count on votes has not yet been released. The current CBA will expire next March.
