No one was injured when a driver hit a horse over the weekend in Clarion County.
The accident happened just before 8 p.m. Saturday on Route 208 in Beaver Township. Police say 37-year-old Benjamin Lewis was driving west when a horse ran across the road. He hit the horse, and then debris from Lewis’ vehicle hit an oncoming car driven by Tyler Colwell of Fairmount City.
No drivers or passengers were hurt in the crash. The condition of the horse was not released.
