Today is the final day to sign up for the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania volunteer tax preparation.
The United Way has been looking for 400 volunteer tax prepares who can help complete returns for households earning up $65,000. No prior tax preparation experience is needed and free training will be provided.
Last year saw over 313 volunteers in 23 sites helping save more $2.4 million and generating more than $12 million in tax returns.
