Two Florida men are facing charges filed by the Pennsylvania Attorney General for scamming seniors, including some here in Butler County.
Josh Shapiro’s office announced Friday that 53-year-old Steve Nichols and 34-year-old Archie Marino, both of Fort Lauderdale were charged after committing distraction-style burglaries in Butler and other surrounding counties.
In each instance, the pair targeted the elderly with one of them talking to a homeowner while the other entered the home and stole various items.
The crimes also happened in Lebanon, Westmoreland, Lackawanna, and Indiana Counties.
