Department of Justice officials are speaking out again about the number of firearms that are being brought to the Pittsburgh Airport.
They say despite reduced travel, the TSA is on pace to seize the most guns ever at airport. Officials also add that most of these guns are loaded.
With travel expected to increase over the next six weeks, the TSA is reminding flyers that there are significant penalties and security concerns if someone has a gun at the airport.
The TSA may issue fines from $3,000 to $13,000 according to the DOJ.
Gun owners can travel with their firearms if they are properly packaged through checked baggage.
