An influential voice has offered his endorsement in the race to replace outgoing Senator Pat Toomey.
Former President Donald Trump is throwing his support behind army veteran Sean Parnell for the Republican nomination.
Parnell was previously a candidate in the 17th Congressional District—a race he lost to Democratic incumbent Conor Lamb, who is also seeking the Democratic nomination for the Senate.
Both parties have seen a large amount of candidates for the upcoming election to replace the retiring Pat Toomey.
