Saturday marks a big opening day for fishers as trout season kicks off.
It officially begins at 8 a.m.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission started stocking waterways two weeks earlier than normal this year, as they were hoping to provide a full experience for youth anglers, who started last week.
Approximately 3.2 million trout were placed into waterways and lakes according to the Fish and Boat Commission.
