The trial of two men charged with the shooting death of a Butler native in Nashville is now set for early next year.
Caitlyn Kaufman was shot and killed in an alleged road rage incident in December 2020 while driving on a Nashville highway.
Police arrested both James Cowan and DeVaunte Hill after an investigation discovered they were in the area when Kaufman was killed. A judge has now set January 23rd next year as the beginning of the trial.
Kaufman, a graduate of BC3’s nursing program, was on her way to work at an area hospital at the time of the shooting.
