Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has partnered with photographer Ross Halfin for a new book titled, Iommi – The Photographs. The 340-page book, published by Rufus Publications, features Halfin’s vivid photographs which document the early days of the heavy metal band right up through Iommi’s recent work with the Birmingham Royal Ballet. The book will also include written tributes and observations from Brian May, Ozzy Osbourne, James Hetfield, and Phil Anselmo. Iommi – The Photographs will be available in a standard hardcover edition in a slipcase, as well as 500 numbered deluxe editions that will be signed by Iommi. “I really appreciate all the work Ross has put in, both as a photographer and editor of the book,” says Iommi. “These photographs represent my career and the memories they conjure up remind me what a fantastic journey we’ve been on.” (Blabbermouth)
