The Slippery Rock University football team defeated California 44-21 Saturday to clinch the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division title. Rock running back Wes Hills rushed for 248 yards and four touchdowns in the game. With the victory, The Rock will host West Chester for the PSAC title game November 10th.
It is the fifth PSAC title for The Rock since 2011.
Slippery Rock still has one game remaining in the PSAC-West and will host Gannon Saturday at 1pm.
