The Pittsburgh Penguins visit the Boston Bruins tonight. Face-off is 7:30pm. WISR pre-game is 7pm. The Pens snapped a four-game losing streak with a 5-1 victory Wednesday over Dallas. Sidney Crosby returned to the line-up and had a goal and two assists. Newly acquired winger Tanner Pearson had his second goal in as many games. Goaltender Casey DeSmith stopped 18 of 19 shots.
The Pens are tied with New Jersey and Philadelphia with 20 points, still last in the Metropolitan Division. They are six points behind first-place Columbus and the New York Rangers.
The Pens host Columbus tomorrow night at PPG Paints Arena. Face-off is 7pm. WISR pre-game is 6:30pm.
The Penguins have placed goaltender Matt Murray on injured reserve with a “lower-body injury”. They have recalled Tristan Jarry from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
