Over the weekend, The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood joined The Black Crowes on stage in Los Angeles for a surprise performance. He played guitar as they sang “Stay With Me,” a song Wood and Rod Stewart did with Faces in 1971.
Lead singer, Chris Robinson introduced Wood by saying that, he’s a man who “doesn’t need an introduction but he’s going to get one.”
The Black Crowes are in the midst of their Happiness Bastards Tour, which begins an international run next month. The new album is their first in 15 years. 2024 marks 40 years since the inception of The Black Crowes.
