An Allegheny County man was charged after he led police on a brief pursuit last Thursday evening in nearby Armstrong County.
According to the State Police in Kittanning, Troopers received information that a 62-year-old Tarentum man, who was wanted on multiple bench warrants for DUI and other charges, was at a location on State Route 85 in Rayburn Township.
Authorities later found the suspect in the parking lot of the undisclosed location. The suspect then fled the scene on his motorcycle, and was taken into custody after a brief chase. In addition to the initial warrants, new charges stemming from his failure to surrender to authorities were also filed.
The suspect was to be arraigned on Friday morning.
