
A local man will face charges after he allegedly threatened to shoot another person earlier this weekend in the northern part of the county.
According to the State Police in Butler, a 30-year-old Hilliards man drove to a Marion Township residence early Friday evening where an altercation ensued with an 18-year-old Harrisville man.
Authorities say that during the altercation, the Hilliards man threatened to shoot the victim, and then discharged a pistol four times before fleeing the scene. He was apprehended a short time later by the Butler State Police and the State Police Aviation team.
No injuries were reported.
