A slow-moving superload will be working its way through Western PA today.
PennDOT officials say the superload is carrying a 27-foot-wide steel cone that weighs over 150 tons.
It will start in Allegheny County and is expected to work its way into Butler County by using I-80. The superload is being delivered to Columbiana, Ohio.
The truck will be traveling around 25 to 30 miles per hour and drivers can expect delays.

The superload is carrying a 27’8” wide steel cone that is 136 feet long, nearly 28 feet wide, and weighs 153 tons. The load will begin travelling in Allegheny County on Routes 2037/Tri-Boro Expressway,130, 48, and 2048 North/William Penn Highway to Indiana County on Routes 22, 286, 129/Alpine Village Drive, 22 and 119 into Jefferson County continuing on Routes 436 and 36 to I-80 West in Brookville. The superload will then travel I-80 to the Ohio line.
