A Summit Academy student has been charged with assault after breaking a student’s jaw in mid-September of this year.
State Police were called to Summit Academy on September 19 for a student who punched another in the face and broke their jaw.
The student alleged of the assault 18-year-old Jermanydragonfire Hineline had made comments about the victim and when approached by the victim Hineline then hit him in the face.
A teacher on scene saw Hineline hit the victim and when interviewed by police Hineline confessed he struck the victim.
The victim was taken to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh and was diagnosed with a broken jaw.
Hineline was charged with simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct engaged in fighting.
