Summer can be a difficult time for kids who would normally receive a free or reduced lunch at school.
To help families struggling with providing food, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank is once again offering the Summer Food Program.
There are several locations in Butler County that will hold the program, which is free to all children 18-year-old and younger.
A daily lunch and activities will be held through August at Rotary Park, Father Marinaro Park, Institute Hill Playground, the Butler Public Library and other locations.
Organizers say there are no specific qualifications that need to be met and no paperwork to fill out. Families should call 2-1-1 with questions.
