Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Eli Rogers has been suspended one game by the NFL for violation of the league’s substance abuse policy. Rogers is recovering from a torn ACL, and will not be ready for week one.
The Steelers host the Tennessee Titans in the third preseason game at Heinz Field Saturday at 4pm. WISR pregame begins at 2pm.
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith has been suspended four games by the NFL for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. The suspension stems from Smith’s behavior toward an ex-girlfriend.
