The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cincinnati Bengals Saturday for a 4:30pm kick-off and will turn to Mason Rudolph at quarterback. Head coach Mike Tomlin made the announcement yesterday, although he said there may be a slight chance Kenny Pickett could return this week.
The Bengals are early 2-1/2 point favorites.
There are two games this Saturday following the Thursday Night game. Three games are scheduled for Christmas Day Monday.
The NFL suspended defensive back Damontae Kazee for the remainder of the season after his hit on Indianapolis receiver Michael Pittman. Kazee has already been fined five times for unnecessary roughness this season, but he was ejected after the hit in last Saturday’s game. The suspension will also cost Kazee more than $600,000 in salary.
NFL Monday Night Football:
–Seattle defeated Philadelphia 20-17. The Seahawks picked off two Jalen Hurts passes in the fourth quarter and scored on the game-winning drive in the final minute to snap a four-game losing streak. Seattle scored the game’s final 10 points after Philadelphia scored to take a 17-10 lead in the third quarter. It was the Eagles third loss in a row. They are 10-4 and fell back into a first-place tie with Dallas in the NFC East. The Seahawks improved to 7-7.
