The Pittsburgh Steelers and head coach Mike Tomlin have agreed to a three-year contract extension. Tomlin is entering his 18th season with the Steelers. The extension runs through the 2027 season. Tomlin has a career record of 173-100-2 with one Super Bowl victory. He has never had a losing season, but the team is 3-8 in the playoffs since the 2011 season. The Steelers have not won a post-season game since reaching the AFC championship game in 2016.
The Steelers have agreed to a four-year rookie contract with center Zach Frazier. The deal with the second-round draft pick from West Virginia is the last for their seven selections in the 2024 draft class. He is likely to become the Steelers starter at that offensive line position after the team released Mason Cole in February, who started the last two seasons at center in Pittsburgh.
The Steelers have contracts in place for all 90 players that are currently on their roster, although defensive lineman Cam Heyward is seeking a new contract extension.
