The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Carolina Panthers 52-21 during Thursday Night Football. It is the most points ever scored by the Steelers at Heinz Field and is the most scored by any team this season in the NFL.
Ben Roethlisberger was 22 of 25 for 328 yards and threw for five touchdowns to five different receivers. Antonio Brown caught a touchdown pass for the seventh consecutive game. Chris Boswell kicked a 50-yard field goal in the second quarter.
The Steelers defense sacked Carolina quarterback Cam Newton five times in the game. Linebacker Vince Williams returned an interception for a touchdown.
The Steelers improved to 6-2-1 overall and will visit Jacksonville November 18th.
