Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Vance McDonald has tested positive for coronavirus and was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday – one day after the team’s victory over the Dallas Cowboys. McDonald played in that game. The 8-0 Steelers host the 2-5 Cincinnati Bengals Sunday at 4:25pm.
The New England Patriots mounted a fourth-quarter comeback against the New York Jets to pull out a 30-27 win last night. They sealed the victory with a 51-yard field goal by Nick Folk as time ran out. He kicked three field goals in the game. Quarterback Cam Newton led the Pats back from 10 points down. Newton had two touchdown runs in the game, including a second goal-line plunge that tied the game with just under two minutes remaining. The Jets fell to 0-9 for the first time in franchise history.
