The New York Jets traded quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to the New Orleans Saints for a sixth-round draft pick. The move appears to give rookie Sam Darnold the Jets starting job. Darnold was the third overall draft pick this season.
Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers signed a four-year contract extension Wednesday. The deal for the two-time NFL MVP is worth $134 million, $100 million of that is guaranteed. His annual salary of $33.5 million is now the highest in the NFL.
