The Pittsburgh Steelers lost their third game in a row Sunday with a 24-21 loss in Oakland. The Raiders scored 14 points in the fourth quarter, including the game-winner with 21 seconds remaining in the game. Steelers kicker Chris Boswell missed a 40-yard field goal to tie the game as time expired when he slipped on the turf. It was the second missed field goal of the game for Boswell, who saved a number of games for his team last season. This year, Boswell is 10 of 16 on field goal tries, and has missed five extra-point kicks.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was 25 or 29 for 282 yards and two touchdowns, but missed part of the second half with a rib injury. Back-up Josh Dobbs was 4 of 9 for 24 yards and an interception in relief. Running back Jaylen Samuels carried the ball 11 times for 28 yards with James Conner out of the lineup with an ankle injury. He caught seven passes for 64 yards.
Wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster had eight catches for 130 yards.
The Steelers were swept by the AFC West this season and have fallen to 7-5-1 overall. They host the New England Patriots Sunday at 4:25pm. The Patriots lost the Miami 34-33 on a game-ending 69-yard lateral play for the Dolphins. New England fell to 9-4. Miami improved to 7-6, tied with Baltimore, Tennessee and Indianapolis.
The Steelers remain a half game in front of Baltimore in the AFC North. The Ravens lost to Kansas City 27-24 in overtime. It was one of two overtime games Sunday. Dallas defeated Philadelphia 29-23 in overtime.
Sunday Night Football: Chicago defeated the Los Angeles Rams 15-6.
Tonight in Monday Night Football: Seattle will host Minnesota at 8:15pm.

–Cleveland stayed in the race for an AFC playoff spot with a 26-20 victory over Carolina. The Browns moved out of last place in the AFC North at 5-7-1.
–Cincinnati fell to 5-8 overall and last in the North following a 26-21 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
