Just a week removed from a blowout loss to Baltimore, the Steelers rolled over the Atlanta Falcons 41-17 for their first win at Heinz Field this season. The Steelers rode the performance of running back James Conner who rushed for 110 yards and 75 receiving yards while scoring a pair of touchdowns.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw for 250 yards with three touchdowns—including finding wide receiver Antonio Brown twice in the end zone. Brown finished the day with six catches for 101 yards.
The Steelers defense also held a potent Falcons offense to only 17 points—the first time Atlanta has scored under 30 points since the week one opener. The Steelers sacked Falcons QB Matt Ryan six times—led by T.J. Watt who recorded three sacks on the day—now leading the Steelers with six total on the season.
The Steelers improved to 2-2-1 on the season and await divisional rival Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday. The Bengals came from behind to beat the Miami Dolphins and are now 4-1 on the season.
