Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has been selected by EA Sports to be on the cover of the “Madden 19” football game. Brown is one of seven NFL players who have a perfect 99 rating in this year’s version of the video game. He is the first Steeler to appear on the cover since Troy Polamalu, who shared the cover with former Pitt receiver Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals in 2010.
Aliquippa native and former Pitt football star Darrelle Revis has retired. The 33-year old played 11 seasons in the NFL, and will likely be a Hall of Famer. Revis ends his career with 29 interceptions and three touchdowns. He spent eight seasons with the New York Jets after being a first-round selection from Pitt in 2007. Revis won a Super Bowl with New England in 2014.
