Another candidate is joining the Democratic race for U.S. Senate.
State Senator Sharif Street of Philadelphia announced he has formed an exploratory committee for the seat to replace Pat Toomey.
Street is currently in his second term in the state senate. He cited health care, clean energy, and gun violence as issues central to his campaign.
He joins a growing list of candidates to announce their run for the Senate.
