Police have released the results from last weekend’s efforts for DUI enforcement.
According to State Police at the Butler barracks, a sobriety checkpoint was set up in Butler County during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
As a result of 91 vehicles contacted, a total of 12 DUI arrests were made, as well as two misdemeanor criminal arrests, three warrant arrests, 25 summary traffic citations, and 19 written warnings.
More DUI checkpoints are planned through the summer so police ask that motorists drive sober or have a designated driver this weekend and at all times.
