Troop D of the Pennsylvania State Police is reminding the public to drive safely during the upcoming holiday weekend.
Over the Memorial Day weekend, Troop D- which includes troopers in Butler County- will place an even greater emphasis on detecting impaired driving, as well as speeding and safety equipment violations.
Authorities also ask that motorists drive sober, use a seatbelt, and be alert while obeying all traffic laws.
In order to prevent crashes and save lives, troopers will have a zero tolerance approach for violations.
