Slippery Rock University offensive standouts Steve Gaviglia, a Seneca Valley graduate from Cranberry Township, and Wes Hills from Wildwood, New Jersey were named to All-America honors Wednesday when the Associated Press Division II Football All-America teams were announced. Both were named to second team honors by the AP, with Hills being selected as one of just four running backs in the country earn an All-America honor and Gaviglia being selected as one of the 10 best offensive lineman in the country at Division II. Both were part of an 11-3 team this season that reached the national quarterfinals. Hills set the SRU single-season rushing mark of 1,714 yards, despite missing three games due to injury.
