College Football:
–Slippery Rock will host IUP for a homecoming game at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium Saturday. Kick-off is 1pm. This is the fourth straight season the two teams have met for a Homecoming game. Hear the game on The Rock Station 97.7fm beginning with the Coach Shawn Lutz Show at 12:30pm.
–Pitt will visit Virginia Tech Saturday for a 3:30pm kick-off.
–Penn State is idle this weekend.
The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Seattle Seahawks for a Sunday Night Game at Heinz Field. Kick-off is 8:20pm. Pre-game on WISR is 6:20pm. Both teams enter the game 2-3.
Thursday Night Football:
–The defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 28-22 last night. Tom Brady threw two touchdown passes and Leonard Fournette scored twice as Tampa Bay improved to 5-1 this season. The Eagles drop to 2-4.
