Despite losing Saturday to West Chester in the PSAC championship game, the Slippery Rock University football team has made the NCAA Division II tournament. The Rock (9-2) will visit Long Island University-Post Saturday in the opening round as the seventh and final seed to make the Super Region One field. LIU-Post (10-0) is the #2 seed in the tournament. Notre Dame College (11-0) is the #1 seed in the region and receive a first round “bye”. West Chester is the #3 seed and will host New Haven (8-1). Kutztown (9-1) is the #4 seed and will host #5 Hillsdale (9-2).
