Sportsbooks across the state generated more than $200 million in bets during a single month for the first time ever.
According to a new report, residents in the Keystone state placed just over $240 million in bets throughout October—with a majority of those bets done online.
Gambling news website PlayPennsylvania.com says 82 percent of the state’s sports bets were placed online.
Although there was a 24 percent increase in the amount of money bet last month, it garnered $200,000 less in revenue for the state than it did in September.
