KAEPERNICK, TEBOW REPORTEDLY REJECTED OFFERS FROM THE ALLIANCE OF AMERICAN FOOTBALL:
Former NFL starting quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Tim Tebowboth rejected offers from the Alliance of American Football (AAF), the new spring football league that kicked off its debut season with games last weekend, according to a report from The Athletic. The Associated Press reported that Kaepernick, who claims he’s been kept out of the NFL since 2016 because he kneeled during the National Anthem before games in protest of racial inequality and police brutality, wanted at least $20 million to consider joining. Tebow, who is playing in the New York Mets minor league system and last appeared in an NFL game in 2012, said he wanted to stick with baseball.
