The Butler BlueSox lost to Chillicothe 7-4 Sunday in the Prospect League. Dom Bucko hit his fourth home run of the season for Butler. The Sox have now lost four in a row. The visit Champion City tonight before heading to West Virginia tomorrow.
The Altoona Curve defeated the Binghampton Rumble Ponies 4-3 Sunday in Altoona. Bryan Reynolds and Will Craig delivered RBI’s in a three-run sixth inning. Craig now has 84 RBI’s this season, tied for fifth-most in Curve history.
The National Baseball Hall of Fame inducted six former Major League Baseball players Sunday. They included Chipper Jones, Jim Thome, Vladimir Guerrero, Trevor Hoffman, Jack Morris and Alan Trammell.
