The newly formed Southern Butler County Business Association is taking the next step in their founding.
The association recently named their newly elected officers, which includes president Bill Dimond of Fleming Insurance.
The group was formed to help “champion, support, and advocate for local businesses.” It aims to help drive economic development and enhance the communities according to officials.
The inaugural Board of Directors include Bill Dimond, Ken Fleeson, Mark Drenchko, Marlene Myers, Nick Salkeld, Jen Klein, Mindy Schnitgen, Harold Aughton, Anne Petrella, Andrew Dimond, Michele Jurysta, Will Dimond, Danielle Doebereiner, John Scialabba and Seth Prentice.
The 15-member board will also work with Mars Mayor Gregg Hartung and Butler County Chamber President Jordan Grady.
The association invites all businesses in the Southern part of the county to join.
