South Butler County School District administrators dealt with a concerning school safety incident Friday.
According to a letter to parents from Superintendent Dr. David Foley, a middle school student made an inappropriate comment to classmates around 10 a.m.
District administrators and school police investigated immediately. The student who made the comment and the issue itself were both addressed.
The school day continued as scheduled. Foley issued his statement for the purpose of keeping families and community members informed.
