It’s a snowy morning in Butler County as a system began to move in overnight.
Right now, there is a projected one to two inches for Butler County.
That led many school districts to opt for two-hour delays.
But, this particular system is expected to have more of an impact to our south according to Matt Burdy, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
“The further south of Pittsburgh, especially for the southeast, we’re looking more like 3-5 inches, and then in the higher elevations those numbers could go to six inches,” Burdy said.
The National Weather Service has a winter storm warning around the West Virginia ridges, Westmoreland, Fayette, and Indiana counties.
