Josh Shapiro is getting his transition into the office of governor underway.
At a press conference yesterday, Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor-elect Austin Davis said they are seeking applicants for their administration.
“We are here to invite Pennsylvanians of all backgrounds and political perspectives to apply to join our transition and our administration by applying online at ShapiroDavis.org,” Shapiro said.
Shapiro says that he’ll continue to serve as attorney general until he’s sworn-in as governor. At that point Shapiro’s first deputy will become the acting AG, and then he’ll nominate someone to the position for the state Senate to confirm.
