A local lawmaker plans to introduce legislation to address a proposal made by Pennsylvania’s governor to enter into environmental agreements.
State Senator Joe Pittman will be joined by colleagues at a press conference at noon in the media center of the Capitol’s East Wing in Harrisburg.
Pittman’s bill would counter a recent announcement by Governor Tom Wolf that Pennsylvania would enter into the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative and impose a carbon tax.
This press conference will be streamed live online through Pittman’s website.
