A committee led by a local lawmaker will meet Wednesday to consider two bills- including one sponsored by another local lawmaker.
In his role as Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, state Senator Scott Hutchinson will hold a meeting at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in the East Wing of the State Capitol Complex in Harrisburg.
The Committee will consider House Bill 1085, introduced by local state Representative Aaron Bernstine, which would repeal the obsolete State Personal Property Tax Act.
The Committee will then hold a hearing on Senate Bill 74 which would allow companies to apply for a tax credit after making an eligible donation to a Pennsylvania pediatric cancer research hospital.
The meeting will be streamed live online through the Finance Committee webpage.
