U.S. Senator Bob Casey was in Butler yesterday making multiple stops around the county.
He spoke to our newsroom before visiting with the county’s Democratic Committee and then stopped at Cleveland Cliffs.
“It’s just good this time of year when we’re away from Washington to get out and see a bunch of different communities,” Casey said. “Especially in the western end of Pennsylvania, and the southwestern end of the state.”
The interview covered the latest happenings in Afghanistan, America’s foreign policy, the new infrastructure bill, the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill, and more.
