Scorpions frontman, Klaus Meine is recovering from a “complex spinal surgery.” He posted online that the band had to cancel their appearance at the Vive Latino Festival in Mexico because of it.
The 75-year-old singer wrote: “I am making good progress with my rehab, but unfortunately, I have not recovered as expected and after talking with my medical team, I am advised that a 12-hour flight time and performing at 2000 meters altitude is a tough one for anybody and I am not well enough to travel and to give you the show you all deserve.”
Scorpions are scheduled to return to the Las Vegas next month for a residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the album, Love At First Sting.
