Beginning Sunday, road crews will start work on a portion of Route 422 in Kittanning.
The restrictions will be in place between Silvis Hollow Road and Colonial Road from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. through this fall.
PennDOT says a contractor will be doing a safety improvement project, which includes widening Route 422 at the Silvis Hollow Road intersection, new pavement, guiderail upgrades, and the milling and paving of the Dunbar Dip area.
