The Slippery Rock University football team has moved back up to #10 in the nation this week, following the latest Division II American Football Coaches Association poll. The Rock will host Seton Hill at 1pm this Saturday for their annual “Salute to Military and First Responders” game. It was also be senior day.
The Rock have also been given the #4 ranking in the latest first numerical ordered Super Region One rankings this week. The top eight teams in the rankings advance into the NCAA playoffs. If the Rock remains in the top four, they would receive a first-round home game.
Slippery Rock quarterback Brayden Long and kicker Mason Yohn received PSAC Player of the Week honors this week following their Halloween victory over Clarion.
The Grove City College football team is ranked #18 in the Division III poll this week.
